The contact and project details you enter in the enquiry form: production company, country of origin, contact name, role, email, optional phone number, format, genre, budget and Malaysian spend bands, target shoot window, locations of interest, the territories you are also considering, and whether you have appointed a Malaysian production services company.

The project title only where you have not selected 'keep confidential'. Where you select it, the title is not recorded and your enquiry is handled under a no-names protocol.

Session information that helps FINAS respond accurately: the figures you entered in the rebate estimator, the questions you asked the concierge, the referring source and the session timestamp.

To respond to your enquiry with an eligibility read, a documentation checklist and an indicative timeline; to introduce you to FINAS-licensed Malaysian production services companies at your request; and to report, in aggregate and never identifiably, on demand for the Film in Malaysia Incentive.

We process your personal data on the consent you give when submitting the form. You may withdraw consent, request access to your data, or ask us to correct or delete it by writing to fimi@finas.gov.my.

Your data is retained for as long as your enquiry remains live, and for a further 24 months for incentive-planning purposes, after which it is deleted or irreversibly anonymised.

Your data may be shared with officers of the Film in Malaysia Office and, only with your explicit request, with FINAS-licensed production services companies. It is not sold, and it is not shared with any other party except where required by Malaysian law.
